Calibrite monitor calibration devices are the most consistent and easy to use product on the market.
There are three models to choose from depending on the type of monitor you are planning on profiling for today's technology and in to the future.
Calibrite offers Calibrite Profiler software as a free download from their website. The newest version of this software is super easy to use. Calibrite Display Pro and Plus HL monitor calibration devices come with an exclusive supplemental hard copy manual on how to download, install and use Calibrite Profiler software. This manual is written by our resident color management expert, Eric Joseph and included for FREE only when purchased from Freestyle.
Calibrite Display 123
This is designed as an entry level monitor calibration device at a very budget oriented price point. The 123 stands for literally three steps for decent monitor calibration and as such it will calibrate any standard technology monitor such as any of the BenQ SW Series monitors we offer as well as many other brands.
It will NOT however calibrate an Apple XDR Display with Mini-LED at full Display P3 color space. It will also knock down the color gamut of an Apple monitor to sRGB. This device is only compatible with Calibrite Profiler software and CAN NOT be used with BenQ Pallet Master Ulitmate hardware calibration software. It also can not perform a monitor profile validation after quitting the program.
After much testing I have found that despite these limitations, it is a basic and capable device for those who want to save some money but still will provide a good quality monitor calibration at an affordable price. You will achieve more accurate results from Calibrite's Display Pro and Plus HL devices for sure.
Calibrite Display Pro HL
Our most popular device for calibrating almost every monitor currently on the market with a maximum brightness rating of up to 3,000 nits (much brighter than any of us may ever need.) The HL stands for High Luminance and as such it will calibrate any standard technology monitor including all of the BenQ SW series monitors we offer and will also calibrate an Apple XDR Display with Mini Led at full Display P3 color space.
This device is flexible as it can be used with Calibrite Profiler software for performing "software" calibrations on your monitor. It is also compatible with BenQ Pallet Master Ultimate for performing "hardware" calibrations on your BenQ brand monitor.
The Calibrite Display Pro HL is relatively future proof in terms of its sensor and capabilities and thus a more popular choice than the Calibrite Display SL.
This is the device we recommend to most users.
Calibrite Display Plus HL
For those who want the best device that will never go out of style! The Calibrite Display Plus HL has all of the capabilities of the Calibrite Display Pro HL, with the added benefit of better sensor and increased capability of calibrating a monitor with a maximum brightness rating of 10,000 nits. We don't have these monitors yet, but are coming so this device is the more future proof of all of the Calibrite devices we offer.
