The QWD Prebath is the first step in the ECN-2 process. Prebath is required to remove the remjet layer found on ECN-2 movie film. Buying it separately from the full kit offers you the ability to process in your own ECN-2 recipe, or even cross-processing in C-41 or E-6 chemicals.
