Photographers using 8x10 film have for too long been left to scan their film with large, cost prohibitive drum scanners or slow and cumbersome flatbed options. We’re presenting the first meaningful 8x10 scanning alternative to be announced in years! We gathered feedback from users of our previous equipment and our beta testers to make our 8x10 Film Holder one of our most precise pieces of equipment yet. 

Just a few features, at a glance:

• 8x10 interchangeable micro-etched acrylic surface utilizes two sheets of glass to keep film perfectly flat
• Interchangeable inserts to utilize our Film Carrier MK1, Film Carrier 120, and more as a cohesive system with our Multi Format Adapter Kit (sold separately)
• Magnetic tensioners to facilitate quickly changing from one format to another, and additionally encourage acrylic to keep film flat
• Spring loaded leveling for perfect alignment on every capture via four machined, knurled leveling knobs
• Precision mounting points create a rigid riser/camera/carrier setup
• All machined parts anodized black (besides knurled leveling knobs, which are clean anodization) for durability and design.
