When paired with the Intrepid ground glass, the Intrepid Fresnel Screen will brighten the projected image to make focusing easier, especially when using wide angle lenses.
On all Intrepid Cameras, the correct way to mount a Fresnel screen is on top of the ground glass, between yourself and the glass.
