DASS ART Optimized Yupo Coated Paper - 13x19/10 Sheets

DASS ART Optimized Yupo Coated Paper is a synthetic (polypropylene) substrate born with a non-porous surface that repels water. Its bright white, slick smooth finish gives artists the flexibility to work in several different mediums to achieve unique and creative results. The surface may be wiped clean to restore the original white of the sheet, making it an excellent surface for beginners. YUPO® is a very exciting substrate for more advanced and experimental artists. Its creative possibilities and suitable applications are infinite.

Because DASS ART YUPO is a synthetic paper made of inert material and therefore is completely archival. However, the composition of the products being used on it will ultimately determine the paper's overall longevity. Yupo will yellow with UV exposure so we recommend using a high quality acrylic non-yellowing varnish and UV protective spray as a sealant when your work is complete. Fingerprint oil can cause resist on Yupo so we recommend working with gloves.

Since YUPO is not inkjet or laser compatible, one of the best ways to get words or images onto the paper is with the DASS Pigment Transfer Process. Because this Yupo has a special advanced coating on both sides, it works with both WonderSauce and SuperSauce to make amazing transfers. DASS Art Yupo paper has an additional coating that other Yupo papers do not have. This additional coating allows for better adhesion when using DASS Art Sauces.
