Press Release - Nation Camera Day
Photo Walk/ Meet up
Long Beach, California, Sunday, June 29th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Join the photographic community in celebrating National Camera Day aboard the iconic Queen Mary.
This event invites photographers and artists, both analog and digital, to unite in celebrating the camera and the photographic community. Discover vintage cameras alongside the latest models and equipment from major brands such as Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Pentax, and Tamron. Additionally, connect with popular Southern California camera stores and film labs including Tuttle Cameras, Paul's Photo, Woodland Hills Camera, East LA Film Shop, The Darkroom, and Freestyle Photographic Supplies, as well as film brands like CineStill and Retrospekt.
Tickets are available for purchase at QMI.care, with all proceeds directed towards the restoration and preservation of the Queen Mary. These donations are tax-deductible. A $30.00 donation grants you access to the Queen Mary, where you can network with fellow photographers and borrow equipment from leading brands onboard. You will have the opportunity to capture stunning images of the Queen Mary and the views of downtown Long Beach, which can be submitted to the post-event photo contest. Stay for the post-event happy hour (6PM-7PM) to win exciting prizes from the vendors. Additionally, if you purchase your ticket by June 10th, you will receive a complimentary National Camera Day canvas tote bag filled with goodies.
