The Pentax K1000 is a fully manual camera built with an almost all metal construction. This means that this camera is a workhorse and for longevity. Built with a rubberized silk cloth horizontal shutter with a speed range of 1/1000 second to 1 second along with Bulb and a flash sync of 1/60 second. Fully manual controls so you can adjust the ISO, aperture and shutter speed to get the exposure to your specific liking. Uses one A76/S76 or LR44/SR44 or something similar to control the built-in-full-scene averaging light meter. This kit comes with a F/2 50mm MC Asahi Lens for sharp images even in low light situations. The body uses any K series mount lens.
