The 80A compensates for the yellow-orange hue produced when shooting daylight film under tungsten (a.k.a. incandescent) light sources. As can be seen in the comparison photos above, the 80A delivers a more natural looking skin tone, so you can shoot with an available interior light source without having to bring in additional strobe equipment.
Note: 80A should be used with a light source of 3200 degrees Kelvin, which is generally a 500W lamp."
