Adox HR-50 with Speed Boost ISO 50 35MM x 36 EXP.

ADOX HR-50 stands for High Resolution. It is a high-resolution film for technical applications that ADOX modifies before packaging with the unique ADOX "SPEED BOOST" technology to make it usable for normal photography. This increases the sensitivity to ISO 50/18° and reduces the contrast so that the film can be processed in normal developers. A developer specially tailored to the HR-50 is also available: ADOX HR-DEV.

The HR-50 is ideal for landscape photography, architecture / cityscapes or travel photography. For portraits, we recommend the special ADOX HR-DEV developer or the ADOX FX-39 II. The ADOX HR-50 responds comparatively well to filtering and is therefore an optimal match for the new ADOX SNAP-ON gelatin filters.

To make it easier to get started with infrared photography, ADOX has developed a lightweight infrared filter (ADOX SNAP-ON system) that reduces the sensitivity by just one stop. This means you can take photos handheld with EI 25/15° (infrared photos are only taken in the sun) and achieve wonderfully rich tonal values and fine-grained images.

For infrared photos with maximum "wood effect" (green leaves are reproduced as white), we recommend an infrared filter that blocks visible light below 715 nanometers. The images take on a dramatic look.

The film is equally suitable for classic infrared photos as for classic landscape photography.
