Arches traditional printmaking papers have been the world standard for centuries. BFK Rives is a classic acid-free, 100% cotton mould made paper is known for versatility. This heavyweight paper is 92 lb. (280gsm). It has a smooth surface and light sizing.
This is a good all around paper for most traditional and historical photographic processes and works well for platinum/palladium printing. It also is perfectly suited for lithography, intaglio, screenprinting, relief printing, linocut, collotype and drawing.
Paper has four deckle edges and watermark.
Arches uncoated papers are sized on both sides. The sides will have a slightly different texture from each other, but both sides are suitable for painting/printing.
