Arches traditional printmaking papers have been the world standard for centuries. Cylinder mould-made, acid free and buffered, these exceptionally beautiful papers can be used for drawing, printmaking, multimedia techniques and alternative processes.
Arches Cover (Arches Velin) White is a heavyweight 92 lb. (250 gsm), mould-made sheet that is 100% cotton, acid free and buffered. It has a visible, slightly flattened grain.
This is a good all around paper for most traditional and historical photographic processes except for platinum/palladium printing. It also works beautifully for any printmaking process or as a drawing surface.
Paper has four deckle edges and watermark.
Arches uncoated papers are sized on both sides. The sides will have a slightly different texture from each other, but both sides are suitable for painting/printing.
