Thomas Ortho Safelight Filter Set (FOD)

Thomas Ortho Safelight Filter Set (FOD) are remove-able vane filters for use with the Thomas Duplex Super Safelight, when processing Ortho films or similar material.

Proper placement of move-able vanes and filters (in body and vanes) is imperative to create the most safe darkroom conditions. Please see PDF instructions.

For all Ortho films and many graphic art materials, the vanes should fully closed so that light passes through both sets of filers, the yellow-edged filters (FBD) and the red-edged filters (FOD).

Note: For Ortho films, papers and many graphic arts materials, the vanes should be fully closed so the light passes through both sets of filters, FBD's and FOD's. Make sure that the vanes are closed tightly and always test your material with the safelights to insure the safelight is safe.
