Arista-II Photo Art Canvas Glossy is a Polyester/Cotton blend Canvas, 17 mil thick, with a white finish (94% brightness rating), and coated for use with inkjet printers. This canvas is great for stretching and is water resistant. Being acid-free and with no optical brightening agents (OBAs), prints have a more natural look and the brightness level will last the life of the print.
Arista-II Photo Art Canvas is best used for high quality reproduction with pigment-based inkjet printers, but it is also dye-based printer compatible. Due to the nature of the canvas material, surface characteristic may vary slightly. The back side is uncoated and shows off the quality of the material.
Canvas varnishing is not required, but is always recommended as a best practice for any canvas prints. It is recommended to allow the print to dry overnight before applying a varnish. Varnishing helps set the image and protects against scuffs and airborne contaminates.
