Rollei Ortho 25 Plus is a technical, orthochromatic black and white photographic film with a nominal sensitivity of ISO 25/15 °. Rollei ORTHO 25 Plus is characterized by a high sensitivity reserve of up to two f-stops, depending upon development. The document emulsion offers exceptionally fine grain images with high sharpness. Rollei ORTHO 25 Plus is ideal for technical and scientific applications and as a half-tone film for pictorial photography  (e.g. street photography, landscape photography, portraits.

 The most suitable developers are low contrast developers, which bend the gradation so that, among other things, the tonal richness increases (more gray values)). The almost clear RC base opens up the possibility of using the film as a B&W slide film.

• Graphic distancing (For this application in particular, we recommend Rollei High Contrast (RHC) developer (1 + 5, 3 - 5 min.).)

PLEASE NOTE: Rollei Ortho 25 Plus replaces Rollei Ortho 25. Results are similar, but processing instructions have changed. Please check the Data Sheet for more info.

Processing Instructions:

• Agitation: In the first 60 seconds continuously, then for 5 sec every 30 seconds.
• Process temperature: 20°C/68°F
• The development times given below are a guide, deviation in times are possible.
