The Archival Pigment Emulsion Transfer System was developed by Bonny Lhotka. Her DASS ART line of products enables users to coat uncoated papers for inkjet printing or transfer images from pigment-printed, Inkjet Transparency films to a wide array of substrates, including paper, metal, and ceramics.
DASS Universal Precoat II is a liquid inkjet emulsion used to coat various surfaces in order that they can be printed on with a pigment inkjet printer. This product is used for preparing porous and non-porous surfaces (e.g. paper, metal, acrylic paint) to receive the inkjet pigment. It is water clear and can be used on various surfaces for direct printing or as a surface prep to receive transfer sauces. Allow to dry overnight before printing. DASS Art Universal Precoat II can also be used to create decals/skins when using the Dass Art Carrier Sheets.
Liquid inkjet emulsion should not be subjected to temperatures below 32 degrees.
**Not to be used with dye based printers
