Flic Film Cyanotype 400ml Liquid Kit
The cyanotype process was conceived by Sir John Herschel in 1842 and the formula has remained essentially unchanged until today. It is a non-toxic simple approach to making prints by laying a negative over treated paper and exposing it to the sun. It can also be used for photograms, an image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a light-sensitive material and then exposing it to light. These kits have sufficient capacity for up to 50 A4 sized sheets. Water color paper or cotton cloth are both excellent mediums for cyanotype printing. Cyanotypes can be toned to different colors after being bleached. Toners can be tea, coffee, wine or any other tannic acid rich liquid.
