Academic Eligibility Requirements
For Students
A unique valid email address associated with an educational entity (i.e., student@university.edu). If you opt to use this method, the product key will be sent to the email address you provide. This is the fastest method for receiving your product key.

A school photo identification card that includes school name, your name, a photo and a current enrollment date.
or
A letter from an academic institution confirming current academic status and a valid photo ID. This letter must be on the school's letterhead and signed by a faculty/staff member. Proof of eligibility must be on letterhead paper and signed by faculty/staff.
or
If you do not have such an ID, you must instead provide a photo identification card, drivers license, passport or other official photo identification.
and one of the following:
Students who are under 18 and do not have a valid photo ID may provide an official letter from their eligible educational institution stating their name and current enrollment status. Identit-E will terminate processing eligibility verification for any user under the age of 13 years old unless a parent or Guardian of the user provides proof of their relationship to the user and consents to submission of the user's information.
For Faculty & Staff:

Recognized Educational Entities:
Higher education institutions defined as an accredited k12, public or private university or college (including community, junior or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time study.
Administrative offices or boards of education of accredited higher education institutions.
Nik Software authorized training providers as approved by Nik Software, Inc.
Government schools located in United States territories.
Hospitals that are wholly owned and operated by an educational institution. Wholly owned and operated means the educational institution is the sole owner of the hospital and is the only entity exercising control over day-to-day operations.
Higher education research laboratories that are a public institution and recognized by the department of education, teach students as part of their research mission, and can provide a copy of bylaws that state the relationship with the controlling university.
Educational consortia and systems: Corporations and associations validly organized and existing under the laws of a state or territory of the United States, each member or shareholder is an accredited school.
