Built-in parallax-free 5' spot viewfinder provides instant access for selective narrow angle light measuring of a scene or subject. The L-408 is a water resistant light meter and is protected from the corroding effects of damp and wet conditions.
Unique built-in combination of Lumisphere and Lumidisc: Lumisphere retracts (flat diffuser function) for contrast light measuring. Multi-flash mode for cumulative flash measuring. Aperture or shutter priority exposure mode.
Digital and analog display of measured data on a large easy to read LCD panel. 3 exposure measurements retained in each measuring mode: incident, contrast, reflected.
Cord or cordless flash measuring: Extended standby (90 seconds) in cordless mode, enables repeat flash measuring without resetting. Auto battery check display in 1/10 increments. Aperture displayed in full and half stops plus 1/10 step. Single 1.5 volt AA penlight battery powers the Sekonic L-408.
