The Componon-S series is made up of 6-element, 4-group lenses which are precisely corrected for a sharp, high-contrast transfer, for both black & white and color photography.
The 50mm, 80mm and 100mm lenses have a luminous aperture scale on the exterior, click stops which can be shut down for silent operation, and a special preset aperture control which remembers the f-stop you've dialed down to, so that you may open the iris again for fine-focusing without fear of losing the aperture measurement you want.
